Also mention that the Mac will periodically ignore the limit and charge to 100% to mantain battery percentage accuracy. and after it reaches a 100%, it will slowly take it back to 80% automatically even if the mac is plugged in.

Should I just plug my mac regardless of its current percentage whenever I’m near an outlet? I’ve seen that it should be charged between 20%-80% but what if I am gonna activelt use my macbook but its current charge is at 44, do I still plug it in?

Hi! I was wondering if anyone knows why the MagSafe light on my MacBook doesn’t turn green even though I’ve set the charging limit to 90%. It stays orange instead. Sometimes it turns green, and sometimes it doesn’t. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
