I had just seen this show in the states 3 months earlier in the states. one of my favorites to this day. Think about the fact this was the last week with Clapton. Prior to this tour he somehow managed to do a tour with Robert Plant AND His own solo tour! After this he only had 2 months before opening night for the Genesis world tour, over 10 countries and something like 115 shows. This was arguably during Phil's peak of popularity yet he only did 1 of his songs which was only the UK audience. In the U.S, he surprising did a drum solo for this tour instead of "In the air Tonight". At a time when fans probably wanted his music and singing from him he wasn't interested :) He was the hardest working musicians of the 80's, period! If you count up all his tours , his solo tours, Genesis tours, touring with others plus writing , producing etc. its hard to comprehend how he got so much done !
