@drjonschoeff: G*P-1s may be doing more than improving metabolic health. Recent observational data from over 10,000 patients looked at whether these medications influenced c@ncer progression. In lung, breast, colorectal, and liver c@ncers, patients using G*P-1s showed a 38-50% lower rate of progression to stage 4 disease compared to those on other di@betes medications. This is observational data, which means we are seeing an association, not a direct effect. And the consistency across multiple c@ncer types and the dataset's size make this signal difficult to ignore. Mechanistically, G*P-1s improve insulin sensitivity, reduce inflammation, and may influence tum0r biology through metabolic and receptor-mediated pathways. This is where the conversation shifts toward long-term disease risk, not just w3ight l0ss.
