I work in a shelter, and we have had a few 'viral' stories that have moved the public to want to adopt the dog or cat that went viral, and that's great, and I'm grateful for every adopter, but my heart always goes out to the adopters of those unsung animals, the senior dog sleeping in their kennel, the terrified cat hiding in its litterbox, the dog that needs medicine for life.. Those adopters are my heros. I don't know Bruno personally, but I have known many, many 'Brunos' over the years, and you cannot know how much happiness it brings me to see one of these dogs so celebrated, loved and adored.
