Yeah, and the infrared radiation still goes through that. the whole point of putting aluminum foil on the window is to reflect the heat back instead of trapping it in between the window and the curtain, which still heats up the living space. So you may get 1° of difference with your product, but with aluminum foil, you'll get 5 to 10° difference.
