Totally get it but they have to pay their employees, building, insurance, etc. They have overhead costs like any other business. I agree their mark ups have gotten out of control though

In the UK rarely do they employ people they literally have volunteers and I’ll see a T-shirt for like £7 ($9) ???

Here in the Netherlands the "Rataplan" thrift stores are pretty affordable but dont you dare go into a thrift store in a city because one ugly shirt will be 20€.

I work at a thrift shop and we put high prices on valuable things as a respect for our kind donators. Since everything we earn goes to charity we want to make sure we sell it at a price that it is worth so that their donation can be as big as possible🫶🫶
