Nice work! I had a similar project that I sadly never finished. It was a lamp with a digital clock display on it (shining through the thin wood layer on the front). I had it check the weather forecast and the lights would animate for the conditions. For example rain would have a random blue blinking pattern. I never figured out a good way to mount the control knob in the hole on the front and then life got busy. Still have it just sitting around waiting to be finished.
