Our EEF funds this year are digital through classwallet. No physical card so no more amazon or quick walmart runs😩

We get nothing in Texas 🤪 but our school district gives us a budget for the entire department which splits over all the teachers

In Florida, we get less than half of that budget. 😔 That means more out-of-pocket for us.

I’m from Mississippi then moved to Georgia, where we DO NOT get EEF. Everything in my classroom is funded by me.

Generally, a teacher desk and student desks, bulletin boards and whiteboards are what the room comes with. We supply everything else, for the most part. I kept pictures of my current classroom. The day I moved in, before I started bringing my stuff in. When those fourth graders start getting rough with my materials, I pull out those first pictures and I explained to them that everything else in this classroom other than what’s in those pictures was paid for out of my pocket, and by disrespecting the things that I’ve selected to share with them, they are also disrespecting me.

Wow - that would be amazing. In Indiana, we're spending thousands per year for not just comfort and decor, but materials.

Dang we only get $200 and if we buy it with those funds it’s school property. If it’s something you want to keep as yours you spend out of pocket.

I taught 4 years in Florida and we received money on your first or second paycheck for supplies. My mother’s school had ACE accounts created for them.
