I’ve been testing this Pentagon Tactical setup in proper Welsh conditions — wet, cold, awkward, and unforgiving. I’m not interested in how gear looks standing still. I want to know what it does under friction. Can I still move properly? Does it hold heat when soaked? Does it drag in deep water? Can I climb, crawl, cross water, and keep functioning when the conditions turn ugly? In the military, kit was never a fashion choice. It was part of the survival system.
