Yes outlet stores are worth it just like going to a thrift shop is worth it You're not going to get the same level of quality buying a brand new piece of clothing from an expense brand but you get it for cheap

No it is more expensive to separate the production and make a lower quality... All their products are of the same quality to reduce input costs...The only difference is marketing costs.. and spend on influencers...

As an outlet worker, let me clear this up. MFO is the wrong term, it’s actually BFO (bought for outlet). These products are not marketed as a counterfeit to the actual product made by the brand, but always have a different style code or names. Usually these are bought by suppliers who specifically make products for lower end stores. Like for Americans T.J. Maxx or DSW. And Europeans Scapino or Intersport. Yes these products are technically lower quality cheaper stock from a cheaper supplier but at the end of the day it’s products that get sold in usual stores, and in some cases it makes them higher quality or even kindoff special in my opinion. (Ofc not everything)

I dont mind buying a lower quality product for cheaper price BUT if they say it was discontinued even though that is its original price, thats just lying

as a retailer for major brands, such as Nike, Adidas and UA, its very common for them to request we send back older stock so they can sell it in outlets. Brands would rather sell products at a discount in their own stores, then have to advertise sales at 3rd party retailers.

Coach to my knowledge is pretty open with this and makes it easy to spot which ones are MFO and which ones are retail, they even have different logos

You think that the other thing is better quality is funny. You just pay for the name and for more exclusive models
