it's because hedge funds and underwriters became super greedy and nerfed OPTIONS and everything became random now. The market doesn't play fair anymore. All traditional analysis techniques no longer work and stocks don't follow rules anymore. This shift to randomness occurred around 2 years ago.

every day that goes by for the past two years and this bubble doesn't pop has raised my anxiety, because I've lived through enough recessions to know the longer the government avoids the dip because of elections, the harder the blow finally lands when it pops.

People are in a buying frenzy and forgetting the fundamentals. At a minimum for me, dividend yield 2-4%, P/E ratio 15% for multiple years, Debt/Equity < 1, etc. I try to buy quality value stocks over trends.
