You can’t hate Abby without also hating Ellie. If you hate Abby that proves you didn’t understand the game whatsoever, The game’s point is that revenge makes people become the thing they hate. You don’t have to like Abby, but if you condemn her for being consumed by revenge, you have to apply that same standard to Ellie.

The game isnt supposed to have one good character and one bad character no one is good they are both filled with raged and revenge towards each other because of what their father did if you look at abby side of the story shes still a good person and if you look at Ellie story shes also a good person but no one is perfect

the hate for Abby is essentially a refusal to engage with human complexity. she isn't a hero or a villain - she’s a mirror, and people prefer simple labels over self-reflection imo rejecting her is just a way to avoid empathy, which says more about the player's lack of perspective than it does about the game's writing 🤔
