@willl_d: This is just my opinion… I believe one of the biggest reasons trading psychology gets overlooked is because it’s easier to keep traders focused on what to buy than why they make the decisions they do. To be clear—I think mentorship is incredibly valuable. A good mentor can shorten your learning curve by years. But the goal of a mentor should be to help you become independent, not dependent. If you’re always waiting for someone else’s signal or confirmation, you’ll never build the confidence to trust yourself. The day you stop trying to copy profitable traders and start understanding why you think, feel, and execute the way you do is the day your real progress begins.
