I dont like fighting games because I dont like getting into a casual match, and getting caught into a 75% combo that cannot be escaped. I want to go BLOW FOR BLOW. HIGH DIFF. AKA not having a 2 millisecond mistake lead to me being forced to sit for 15 seconds as I get my HP melted with 0 escape or counter play.

People act like the fighting game experience is playing against pros like there isnt sbmm. They just get angry because you have to take accountability unlike team games where you can blame anything else

What it really comes down to is learning to respect your opponents, most gamers aka ball and gun gamers only know how to rush down, and to their credit it works for their games. With fighting games you can’t just bum rush bc the opponent can parry or wait for their turn with frame data. Ball and gun gamers aren’t required to make plans and constantly adjust the same way fighting games require their players
