Rinse & Soak Rinse rice 2–3 times until water runs clear. Soak for 20–30 minutes, then drain. 2. Boil with Flavour In a saucepan, bring 2 cups water to a boil. Add biryani masala, turmeric, salt, and oil/butter. 3. Add the Rice Stir in soaked rice. Mix gently so the spices coat the grains. 4. Simmer & Steam Lower the heat to low, cover tightly, and simmer for 12–15 minutes until all water is absorbed. 5.
