Flying from Dublin to New York 🇮🇪✈️🇺🇸 with Aer Lingus is honestly so handy, direct from Dublin Airport and about 7–8 hours, which actually goes way quicker than you’d think 🙌 One of the BEST things is doing US pre-clearance in Dublin, we were through in no time and when you land in New York City you literally just walk out, so handy 💸 We got some dollars before we went from a currency exchange shop, or the post office usually has good rates, but mostly used our cards, still handy to have a bit of cash on you 🧳 Baggage allowance is 23kg checked and 10kg carry on, and we fully used that 😂 We actually packed our small suitcase INTO the big one on the way over so we had loads of room for shopping 🛍️ ✈️ Flight itself was really comfy, food was nice and there’s loads to watch so it passes quick enough 📱 We used Holafly for data, literally booked it the night before after a quick google search and it worked perfect the whole trip 🙌 unlimited data and no hassle setting it up, (not an ad), we just genuinely liked it 🚆 We got the train from JFK Airport into the city and it was so handy, way cheaper than taxis and you skip all the traffic 🏨 Stayed in the Westgate Hotel right beside Grand Central Station, such a good location and a really lovely hotel, will share more on that soon👀 If you’re planning a New York trip follow along, we’ve loads more tips coming ✨ Have you been to the States before? How did you find pre-clearance in Dublin? And pls tell us, do you do the suitcase trick too 😂 New York is unreal for shopping so we always bring as little as possible and leave space for new bits 😅🛍️ #dublinairport #newyorktrip #traveltips #irishtravel #aerlingus
