I’ll tell you what I don’t see how they are raising these breakfast fees for the senior citizen and these lunch fees for the senior citizens because they’re still paying the Son van drivers less than $20 an hour. You know the Son van drivers that take the senior citizens to these community centers to get these breakfasts so there should be enough money to let these poor senior citizens eat breakfast for $1.50. they’re not paying the Son van drivers that take these folks to these places. So there should be enough to let these poor folks eat for $1.50 since the city is so cheap to pay the Son van drivers are less than. $20 an hour while they’re paying the managers at Transit over $29 an hour.

when i was helping run a rec center in denver, senior breakfast was so foundational to so many people’s lives; their social lives, getting to talk and interact, getting out of the house, etc. how we treat those most vulnerable is the truth of who we are- why raise prices on the elderly when we could tax corporations like netflix, spacex, etc. what’s up nm?

He didn’t get the money he wanted for the homeless people so he’s trying to figure a way how else we get the money they’re blaming inflation. What about during Covid? What about the recession? No prices went down on that but all of a sudden now
