@njogusurveyor: 📌 IS IT ADVISABLE TO BUILD A WALL DIRECTLY ON A BOUNDARY BEACON? No. It is generally not advisable to construct a wall directly over or on top of a boundary beacon. Boundary beacons are permanent survey marks used to define and preserve the legal limits of a parcel of land. Covering, disturbing, or destroying them can make future boundary verification difficult, increase the risk of boundary disputes, and may amount to an offence under Kenya's survey laws. As a land surveyor, I recommend having your boundaries confirmed on the ground before construction and positioning the wall in a manner that preserves the boundary beacons for future identification and verification. Protect your boundary beacons—they protect your property rights. #LandSurveying #LandLaw #RealEstateKenya #CivicEducation
