I feel like the internet and real life are not the same thing. Pretty much everyone I know and see irl still wears the last few years trends, myself included. Only internet influencers and overconsumers actually just abandon trends after one season of wear.

I genuinely don’t know where you are living but in London people are still wearing all these 2025 trends… pushing this narrative that there are month long trends is coming from you not from what people are actually wearing. By trying to stop trend cycles you’re actually just telling people that if they want to be on trend they need new clothes every few months…
