@kodekloud: The 1 File That Lets You Fake Any Domain Your local app works fine until cookies, redirects, or login start acting weird 👀 That's because they expect a real domain, not localhost. One file on your computer fixes this in under a minute. We break down how to edit your hosts file so your browser treats your local server like a live website, on Windows, Mac, and Linux. 💾Save this for your next local dev setup. #HostsFile #WebDevelopment #DevOps #LocalDevelopment #CodingTips

notreallyraph :
most people cannot do this because EDR and antivirus software on work computers will flag this. some people dont even have admin rights. just add localhost to your trusted domain list on your redirects (dev only) and redirect URI on your dev SSO authentication.
