Combination of things, I think. Seze was her first Ikran and was Neytiri’s teacher in a way that wasn’t typical for Navi just because of who she is. Neytiri didn’t try to control her or take over. She shares the bonds evenly with every creature and the forest. Sa’ata was made for wartime fighting and mountain terrain and was the right Ikran for the phase of life Neytiri and her family were in. Seze taught her how to be a smooth flyer in the forest and Sa’ata taught her stealth and combat techniques. I think the rest was just Neytiri. She has a very natural gift.

tbh i figure flying in a forest would just make you a better flyer over all, especially if thats what you were practicing born doing, shes used to flying in a place with a lot of obstacles

Most likely herself as seze wasnt an ikran for battle. She wasn’t trained enough for it. So Neytiri trained herself and sata for war as she knew it would be necessary

Why is no one suggesting her ikran mightve already known how to do alot of those manoeuvres when they bond their minds link so they can work together and in turn fly better together
