@pbsnews: Authorities in southern China say flooding has killed at least 39 people after days of record rainfall. A massive rescue and relief operation is underway as entire communities are underwater in the region of Guangxi. Officials there say the partial collapse of a local dam is responsible for most of the fatalities, and they warn that many other structures could be compromised. #pbsnewshour #pbsnews #newshour #news #china #flood
It is sad that people within China are attacking the victims, saying there were no floods at all, and only the victims know what really happened, with only the victims having their families destroyed.
Another ironic thing is that the Chinese government first evacuated not ordinary people closest to the flood, but from areas farther away with a large number of foreign tourists. Because foreign tourists' mobile phones do not have the Great Wall firewall.
