@alanonai: People would tell AI, “Build me a CRM.” Or, “Build me a scheduling app.” And AI would do exactly that. They’d come back excited because they had a working app. The problem is, AI wasn’t just writing code. It was making dozens of architectural decisions they never knew existed. Things like multi-tenancy, databases, deployments, and scalability. By the time they discovered those decisions, they already had customers. So I built a tool called Architect Builder. Before AI writes any code, it asks you a few questions about what you’re building. Then it generates a prompt that asks AI to explain the architectural decisions it’s about to make, the alternatives, the tradeoffs, and the assumptions it’s making about your business. I liked the idea so much I turned it into a free toolkit called Architecting Your App. Because AI is really good at writing code.
