I second Hopscotch! Also, the OMSI museum is great, of course. They have a planetarium. For food, JoJo PDX is good and seems like something they may enjoy (cheeseburgers, jojos, soda). If you want to try something more adventurous, Hat Yai is delicious. Champs Burger, Midcity Smashburger. Jen's Pastries is yummy, open Saturday & Sunday only. There's also an In and Out in Hillsboro, and a dirty soda place in NW called Fiz and Sip! Also, Fifty Licks is great ice cream. There's also a theme park in SE called Oaks Park! Sorry for the long spiel, I'm a Portland local and have all the recs. 😁

if he likes lights, hopscotch is really fun and an easy at your own place kind of activity. Oaks Park is a cool mini amusement park/carnival vibe.

I love the electric boats. Hopscotch was so much fun very family friendly. Love OMSI, always have a good time there. Southwest community center in Portland has a nice pool we loved. Jamison Square has a nice splash pad waterfall type park.

Hopscotch was very affordable. It is VERY stimulating but my kiddo loved it. It’s timed entry tickets online.
