I also just read this today. And God just opened it up to me deeper than I’ve ever seen before. He took no part and gossiping. The whole town came to Him, looking to accuse Him. What did he do? My Bible is the new king James version by the way and it’s worded just like this he stooped down, wrote on the ground with His finger as though He did not hear. We all know Jesus hears. And when I thought about it, I put myself in that situation. He was showing us how to react if somebody else is gossiping that was powerful today.
