I get that, but I genuinely also need to be alone. I’ve been comfortable enough with some people to completely unmask, and it’s still not enough.

Oh I definitely need my own alone time, I cannot be around people for too long, I need to spend time with myself. It’s like spending time with a partner, some of my time is going to be spent on me and only me

I’m like that too and I think that’s what people mean—it’s not always necessarily that they NEED to be alone, it’s the at they get to a point where they can’t show up as the version of themselves most people need you be. It’s not personal, it’s just that most people aren’t compatible with each other on too deep of a level 🤷♀️
