I picture it like this. They hire more workers the same reason you add more than one screw to a sheet of drywall. The screws are the most important part. So you add more to make it stronger. If a single screws is removed, the drywall still holds, because you have more screws to do the important part. Now if you kick the drywall, it breaks but the screws still holds it to the wall. When you take out the screws, the just drywall falls. The drywall is there just to look nice and take credit, while the screws do all the work.

I feel like we're reverting. companies not accepting dr's notes, finding loop holes in workman's comp, running on a point system that only allows 4 days off a year & if you go over, fired. large companies/factories need to be humbled
