Анастасия Фигурина :
As someone who has been through destructive, toxic relationships — which, thank God, didn't last more than a year — I can say that there are cases where both people are at fault. Where he can be a quiet, covert manipulator who just withdraws into himself, refuses to talk to you, acts like you don't exist, and at every convenient opportunity throws you away with words like, "Then go find someone better if I'm not good enough for you." And she can be aggressive, unstable, unable to control her emotions, and unable to stand up to someone who abuses and manipulates her. They were both latched onto each other, sucking the energy out of one another, yet they couldn't walk away. I don't believe that a man couldn't leave a girl just because she threw tantrums at him — he could have threatened her with the police, he could have told his parents, he could have done something to make sure she was simply no longer in his life. I'm not denying that she is guilty of what happened. She bears responsibility for the deaths of two people. But all of this looks like everything that happened was the consequence of a very bad, toxic relationship that neither of them could simply get out of. And I'm very curious to know what exactly happened in that car that made her think, at 160 km/h, to slam full force into a brick wall. She clearly didn't plan on surviving.
