Still too many people looking so companies taking advantage of that but activity does seem to be increasing. Hopefully we can get people in roles faster so things speed up and opportunities increase. Also cautiously optimistic!

No I haven’t seen that. There are still too many people applying compared to the amount of available jobs. B2B senior marketing, I’ve been job searching and interviewing for years. Thankfully I’m already employed but it is perhaps role dependent.

Hey Melissa! Great video as always. I’ve been unemployed for 111 days now with my 125th app being turned in this morning. Healthcare, government, aviation and public safety are my areas of expertise. I’ve had Several interviews and phone screenings, but no offers thus far. I personally think it’s just “numbers”. I may be very well qualified but I’m sure that out of the 150 people that applied, someone fits the role better than I do. I don’t think I can do anything about THAT one. Preciate you!!

Over 2 years out of college. It took a year to get a decent job interview opportunity. I’ve had lots of opportunities now over the last 6 months interviewing. I get at least one or two interviews a month, but now they all want experience I haven’t been able to get. So I’m still screwed.

I’m entry-level. I’m looking ideally for retail positions, but hospitality too. I had an interview yesterday at Starbucks after sending an application 27 days ago; I genuinely never expected a call. From the volume of 130+ applications and interview rate so far this year has been 8. At the beginning of the year I never rlly got much interviews and that’s when I realise the job market was finished cos I hadn’t heard back from an application until 6 months later, most likely because I have under a year of experience I assume, but I still kept applying to the right jobs that better suit my experience, tailoring my CV well, consuming job search content and updating my LinkedIn. One work coach from job centre told me I need to spend 35 hours that I wasn’t doing good enough. I was usually doing 2-3 applications a day and that’s it. I get exhausted analysing job descriptions

What I have seen in my field is that in say less compared to the first half of the year. What I’m seen different is that people are not applying (according to the numbers of LinkedIn)
