Sharing.... bear in mind. This was very last minute. Total cost: SAR 2110 (family of 4) for a 24 hour umrah booked last minute. Which is SAR550 p.p 1. Train - SAR160 per person each way economy class on train - Business class was around SAR 400 pp each way - One could also check flights. I know Madina to Makkah economy flights can be as low as SAR150 if you book in advance - Taxi options to Makkah. SAR450 for Sedan, SAR750 for SUV (7 people). This takes 4- 5 hours. - Bus is SAR110 per person one way. 6-7 hours. 2. Parking - SAR3.5 per hour at haramain station to leave you car - Uber/Taxi would have been cheaper but we preferred using our car 3. Hotel - We did Makaram Ajyad for SAR700 for one night. Sleeps 4. It was 250m. - Clock tower was SAR 1600 upwards - Voco (2km away) was SAR400 4. Taxi - From Train station to hotel and back. SAR60 each way. - You can use the Haramain shuttle. Its cheaper but can be tiring with bags and kids. If you are on a tight budget. You could probably do it at SAR350 using bus/shuttles/further hotels as an individual and maybe even at SAR300 if sharing. I think if we planned in advance and wanted to maintain the train, car, close hotels, we could probably get it down to SAR1800 for the 4 of us. Inshallah, may we be able to go frequently for our Umrah. #umrah #budget #makkah #madina #haramain
