Hi George, love your content! However I became a manager only few months ago and my social media is flooded with horrible bosses content that really feels overwhelming. Trying put humans first and still hold boundaries, get work delivered and stay professional is not easy. I have an amazing team though and would love to do right by them. Any examples of happy and positive stories for inspiration? Any advice is highly appreciated! 😉

Yep. I was a manager and the INTERN working for me was making $20k more than me. I went straight to the director and got that fixed. Thank goodness he responded the right way and not like in your TT.

This happened at an old job and the new girl was bragging. Had people who had been there for years who were highly experienced and even certified for the job while she was both inexperienced and not certified. People were heated and demanding pay increase and got those who didnt get at least what the new girl was making quit on the spot

Even just putting "no discussing pay" in the company policies is highly illegal, it's a chilling effect on free discussion. Even if you never tell employees, just having it in there is a big no-no.
