@markndrew_: The Silo may not be as old as we’re repeatedly told now that we know how memory loss works. Is Daniel setting up Juliet and how did the nanobots get relics forbidden ? @Apple TV #whattowatch #silo #silotheory #BookToScreen

I agree bc when Juliette went to silo 17, we saw a city skyline in the distance. No modern city skyscraper would look that intact after 3 centuries.

Since this is a TV show and not the books, your theory is possible but if it’s based on the books, you’re totally wrong lol

Silo is probably an experiment to make them forget all the memories that they have and implant false memories and wait for them to regain those lost memories. So that the guy who started all of these can cure her sister of losing her memories.

Gloria's memories of beaches, the ocean, and life outside are not her own firsthand memories from before the Silo. She had access to forbidden knowledge (through relics, old stories, and other sources), and she also suffered from a condition that affected her memory. As a result, she spoke about things that seemed like personal memories even though they were connected to knowledge from the past.

The second book is so good. Though I’d argue there isn’t a twist with why the silo’s were created. It’s just a point blank we did this for this reason and that makes it worse imo.

When you keep repeating the same narrative (there was a rebellion) it eventually seems as the truth

I binged the show last week, I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure it was told in season 2 the Silos were like 512 years old or something like that

I think the silos are under their own biodome. and the world outside is going on as usual and forgotten about the silo people

Maybe it’s one large scale experiment from the doctor and the world outside of the city is still ok
