I love that it’s an icebreaker. I get to chat and giggle with others who’re pierced. Also, I love how little ones immediately see me as a trusted adult. They love pointing at my piercings or asking about my dyed hair—but it’s nothing compared to when they’re parents witness their shy/ timid kids light up and step out of their comfort zone
