Have you ever had an embarrassing but yet funny and interesting moment on your career path journey? Here is mine, so about a week and few days ago, we had our legal year opening, as Law Students the event normally marks the beginning of another semester’s academic activities. Well I’m a Senior Adocate of Lawsan SAL a tittle normally given to distinguished individuals who have shown expertise in the practical aspect of law I.e moot and mock trials at the faculty of law level for different faculties across the country, I was privileged to join my senior colleague who was the lead counsel and equally doubles as the moot court chairman, normally in the current day law practice the lead counsel announces appearance for other counsels appearing with him while they take a bow immediately they hear their names to show my lord(Judge) that they are in court. Fortunately I was the first the lead counsel called and funny how I had been struggling with that wig since the beginning of the opening of the legal year which started with a procession from the school senate building to the faculty’s moot court. Well cut long story short, immediately my name was called I stood up to take my bow jejely and my wig fell off🤣🤣 normally it was an embarrassing moment but for some reasons it has add colour to my journey plus I find it very interesting and I watch they video most times and laugh very hard. For about 4 days the videos were trending in law faculties and even seniors who are lawyers already posted but well it’s a moment I will keep as it is part of my journey to purpose and destiny and today I decided to share with y’all. PS: wig falling off your head in court can amount to contempt of court, which is an offence but even mi lord the presiding Judge laughed loud and hard while others laughed in court too so yeah I guess that’s it. Let me know your thoughts in the comments session especially legal minds ✨⚖️🇳🇬@charli@Charliee Legal @Ezekiel Happiness❤️🖇️ @National LAWSAN @Female Law Students Forum NSUK @@legalpoet @LEGAL MINDS
