After 4 months no contact, we tried again. I came back ready to rebuild and in a healthier place. Unfortunately my FA did not come back ready for those things. He was ready for reconciliation not rebuilding. He fell right back into his patterns. I was the one who had to recognize that he did not have the capacity to do what was necessary for a healthy relationship and had to choose myself.

Mine told me she was so in love with me and we set a date for our wedding, then something switched and she was gone - the next day! 🥲 Then a month later she was back with her ex who she said she’d never been in love with and was only with as she was ‘safe’ after being cheated on by her first gf! 🥲 Life really does suck sometimes!!!

Try three visits later. I was trying to ease a bit into it before having a serious rehashing- and he’d already triggered himself by visiting two, already pulling away by the third.

I've mapped the patterns and and identified my part. have been in therapy, reading and meditating to build the skills to regulate and sit in uncomfort longer, to be more curious and to validate. if she decides to do her own work to be vulnerable and build capacity I'm here and ready to build something stronger. but her journey is hers alone. I hope she comes back, but my life goes on.

I spent months in therapy working on myself . My fearful avoidant still didnt change nor want to.

11 year relationship She reached out after 6 months of no contact ... We went and had coffee and talked for 3 hours .. I don't think she is in a good place despite our excellent chemistry... I told her I'm always here but am definitely not forcing anything... I'm happy with how it went and am in a much better place. ❤️❤️
