I was 14 and really into my little pony. I'd draw ponies in my sketchbook while in the hospital with her. I would get upset when she was too sick to come to my choir concert. She passed away 2 weeks before I turned 15. I had my first kiss on my birthday, 2 weeks with her no longer in my life. I was still just a kid. She really never even got to see me be a teenager.

I was 13, felt guilty for a long time about it. But now I am 29 and realised she still adored and loved that “stubborn and moody” kid/teenager. Her love definitely reached me despite the circumstances. Hugs to everyone 🫂

I’m 21 and my mom passed last year. We had just become besties working together and talk everyday. As she got promoted and had to go somewhere else she passed shortly after. I find peace in thinking she is within me, she laughs at what I laugh at, she cries when I cry and she rolls her eyes whenever someone says something stupid near me. They will always be around you as long as you keep them updated is how I look at it even though I’d rather she was just here right now.

i was 13. she lowk would’ve absolutely been so annoyed with me from ages 14-17 but at 18 i became tolerable again and now i’m 20. i wish i had mommy dates with her like everyone else
