I have it for my mom that has dementia. I do have my kids on it but rarely look at. It did notify me when Maloree got into a fender bender and I was able to get to her faster. But yes I agree it doesn’t need to be looked at constantly.

I like to use it for my parents. Now that they’re getting older and are having health issues, I like to know that I can find them if they fall off the face of the earth. Other than that, I’m completely with you.
