Why wouldn’t you simply let the 7/10 put options expire - worthless - and then sell the 7/17 puts as a separate order? What is the advantage of rolling the options?

I definitely need to learn this technique. I’m just curious—why did you decide to roll the position when it was likely going to expire worthless anyway? Was it mainly for demonstration purposes, or was there another reason behind it?

Or just btc first then sto. In other words just manually roll than automatically roll. I usually start from .01 and move up. Once exercised, I would sto.
