This might sound a bit weird, but at first I thought “mi” would make more sense as the spoken Finnish form (kind of like a shortened version) of “minä.” 😅 “Mä” just didn’t feel like the intuitive shortening to me. But the more familiar I became with Finnish and the more I learned about the language, the more “mä” started to feel natural. Now it actually feels much more right than “mi.”😂 The same goes for “sinä” and “sä.” But no comment on “hän” and “se” yet! 😅
