@bungustore: One of the oldest problems with pencils is that only one side of the lead wears down, so your lines get thicker and the tip breaks more easily. The old fix was to rotate the pencil yourself every few words, but nobody actually did. So in 2008 Uni made the Kuru Toga, where two 40-tooth gears rotate the lead a little every time you lift the pencil, keeping the tip evenly worn and always sharp. Then Uni asked, if the pencil can sharpen itself, why are we still clicking it? The answer is the Kuru Toga Dive, which keeps the lead sharp and automatically feeds it as you write. Take off the cap and it dispenses just enough to start, then it's basically on autopilot, with a dial to fine-tune how much lead sticks out. How cool is Japanese stationery?
