"ive been cheated by you..." and "you cheated on me" are two different comments. All we know from this context is that he did something that broke her trust, several times. Not that he cheated in the sense he went woth someone else.

I feel like we're starting to use "problematic" way too much when we talk about art. It's almost become a synonym for "complicated". Yeah, the song is about having an unhealthy attraction to a toxic person but finding it too hard to turn away. That's not problematic, that's a piece of art exploring a relatable human flaw. People don't always have healthy relationships, they do have unhelpful impulses that lead them to self destructive choices. These are fundamental human experiences, that's why we write songs and poems and books etc about them
