@darkwingswildlife: People are really out here like “I want one” as if a 100+ lb rodent trying to eat everything in sight is a walk in the park 🤣 When we let Pumpkin the capybara in for a little bit of socializing, this is what she does the entire time. You can’t leave her unsupervised for a minute if you don’t want a hole in your couch. They’re wonderful animals, and I love letting her come in to socialize with us because it’s great for building trust and bonding. BUT they are extremely expensive to care for and have really specific care requirements that really require a trained zoological professional to properly meet their needs. #capybara #capybaras #capybaralove #capybarasofinstagram #animals
