The guy that hit me did a hit & run after arguing with me . I looked up his plate I found the finance company he was making payments on his 2025 Honda civic . Let them know he was driving without insurance & did a hit & run 🤣

If you have a loan on a car and you cancel your insurance, the bank will be notified and if you don’t insure the vehicle they will repossess the car.

The loan company will put insurance on the vehicle and charge the loan. The insurance company notifies the loan as soon as the insurance is dropped.

You can also buy a car NOT from a dealership but from a person. The reason she has no plates, insurance etc is cuz she bought the car from off the street not a dealer lot

If you are in the state of Missouri, I can confirm as a dealership that as the insurance that you had on your previous car, you have 10 days to switch it over. You do not have to have proof of that unless you have a loan and even in the state of Missouri, that is valid.

In Ireland you can't drive a car without insurance. if you're stopped, they'll take your car, you'll get a court summons and most like get a heafty fine and points on your licence. if its not your first offence, you'll probably get a driving ban for a few years.

In my state the dealership files dmv to make SURE the car is registered to the new owner. We collect the dmv fees and file on their behalf. It’s wild the car was never registered.

We just bought a car 5 days ago. We had to show our current cars insurance and they said that new car was covered under their insurance for 3 days and we had those 3 days to get it added to our policy.

sometimes when you have a loan on a car and you stop paying insurance the loan company will take out insurance on it and add it to the amount of the loan. It happened to me once when I was younger
