@the_sourdoughhoe: 🍦✨ VANILLA BEAN WHIPPED TALLOW LOTION 🤍🌿 I am so excited to share this lotion that my family and I are absolutely obsessed with. it has been the only moisturizer we’ve used on our skin for over a year now! I use it all over my body, michael uses it everywhere, especially his beard, and the kids get it on any sunburns, mosquito bites, or dry areas. I hope you love it too! ingredients: • 1000g rendered tallow • 10 vanilla beans (I do 2.5 beans per every 250g of tallow, so 10 for the full batch… go with 8 if you want a lighter scent) • 140g jojoba oil • 16g vitamin E oil method: melt your rendered tallow down low and slow. add in your vanilla beans and let that steep on very low heat for about 4.5-5 hours pull your vanilla beans out and strain the caviar through cheesecloth… you’re straining out the bulk of it, a little bit left behind in the tallow is totally fine and adds to the speckled vanilla ice cream look let it cool down to 90-95°F, then add your oils and begin whipping to your desired texture bottle it up and you’re done 🤍 storage: keep in a cool, dark place… good for about 6-12 months (longer if you keep it in the fridge)
