you just said you found this out because of your Doberman this week? be even more careful now. from what I gathered from my animal sport vet, primary vet and ER vet. once a dog has had a heat stroke, they are more prone to having one again. their body does not regulate and function how it use to.

Just a note, never completely cover a dog with a wet / dam towel as it can make them overheat faster, absolute soak them with cool water ect but never leave a towel on them ♥️lay on yes, on top, no ♥️There needs to be same laws for animals as their are for children when it comes to abuse, neglect & immediate medical need!!!!!

I'd take the charge. that k9 couldnt have recovered in that amount of time to b put back in the sun and heat. I would have continued care until it was safe to return.
