the only way I find the timer as a good adition is if you have to train and master the form to not have the timer, like goku and gohan in the cell arc

I kind of like the timer. in every other dragon ball game every form except the one you prefer is basically useless and there's no reason to use them. having some kind of limit makes each form meaningful

There might be a mastering system or some way to extend the time limit. It very well be exclusive to the online stuff.
