Nah bruh, ts is a third route. 😭 "The forbidden route begins with ice" is most likely hinting that we need to keep the Thorned Ring, collect all 5 Shadow Crystals, and then fuse the Thorned Sword. That'd probably give us complete control over Kris, and since Shadow Crystals are the only things that don't really change between the Dark World and the Light World, the Thorned Sword could be a weapon that exists in both worlds. Then we kill Susie and Ralsei, and after that, everyone else

another thing, the whole point of that mini game is to reference the weird route. after Noelle and Kris defeat every enemy they can, how could they get stronger? by killing those who have been from with them from the very beginning. in the minigame, them giving a level EACH means they have more exp than any monster.
