i’m writing an article on this right now and the morality of plastic surgery 😫 hopefully it will incentivize women to love their natural self. there’s so many times in the past when i wanted to get work done on something, and now, today, i love those things. i wouldn’t change them if you gave me the money to. and today i have different things i no longer like about myself, but i know one day they’ll be my favorite thing, and i’ll see the beauty in them. it’s a process. it’s okay to not feel connected with yourself, your body, or your beauty. it’s a completely normal experience. it doesn’t always mean you need to get rid of it or change it.

Completely off topic but I’ve heard abt this law debate involving the street artist Banksy, called the ‘Banksy Effect’. The debate is abt if its acceptable for Banksy to do street art or not because at the end of the day its still a form of vandalism but would it be okay since he’s a street artist so its kinda a form of self-expression and also would it be okay if a regular person did the same. Would love to hear your thoughts on this (as you’re a law student)

i agree, confidence is inward and even with plastic surgery, it’s not necessarily guaranteed that feeling will go away. i think healing the self esteem is the first step 💓
