I always tell people, stop using your hand to play. Its the number 1 way to ensure they will keep it up. toys and lasers only in this house.

My kitten play bites & swats without claws on occasion, but when we first got her she would bite and claw fully armed. We would yelp once (channeling my best cat ouchie noise) when the offense happens and redirect, and now she’s much less interested in hands.

I've fostered for over 20 years. I teach my fosters not to bite by playing with them with my hands. If they bite, I put my finger in their mouth and push down gently they stop by the 3rd or fourth time. If ones stubborn I say ow and that always stops them. 🤷♀️They get 3 scheduled play times a day that I really tire them out with. So much they always nap. Even with the play they always end up biting even when I have full litters ( I keep them from either birth (we get a lot of orphans), or 5 weeks for ferals, until 16-20 weeks. I've had at least a thousand of not more kittens come through, and I've had so many foster fails, they never end up being biters.

I found a kitten so we only have 1 and at 5 months she still bites and attacks our face and nothing is stopping it. Please advise how we can stop it before it gets to late
