Maintenance should be on them. In fact it should be apart of rent. If I’m paying rent, I’m paying for a roof over my head n for y’all fix things. No one should have to pay rent and maintenance

Mind you I don’t know if your apartment is the same as mine, but if we were to hire our own services to fix any issue in the apartment or do it ourselves, we are also liable. Therefore, you did the right thing potentially by your lease of calling. Them not telling you it’s gonna be an extra fee is dead wrong!
